Project Detail

Form From Within

This structure reimagines solid and void relationships though a contemporary lens, weaving a dynamic narrative of form and connection. The Circular elements that are risen and overlap forge these

relationships that draw the eye through the composition.

Model Design

Materials

Plaster, Paint, Wood Dowels

Following a contemporary approach, This structure to showcases the abstract language in collage. Shown in the model is the connection between the circular elements in each piece by raising and overlapping them. I added a bright terracotta colour to the circular faces of the bottom left pieces in particular to show the connection between them when positioned this way. As a result, a large circle was formed, which served as the structure's focal point. In addition, I wrapped small dowels around the structure like a vine with an added green ombre. This application linked each piece together and highlighted movement and dimension within the structure.
